Cooke Aquaculture will pay over $150,000 to fund a salmon restoration project in a Maine River following violations of its salmon farm off the coast of Maine.
A consent agreement between Cooke and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection stated that the aquaculture company must fun the Marine Rearing Atlantic Salmon Machias River Project.
